The Crescenta Valley Sierra Club Group presents, Kat High’s, Traditional California Indian Relationships, on Tuesday, March 8th, at 7:30 p.m. at the Los Angeles County Public Library on 2809 Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta.
Kat High will give a presentation on gathering for balance. This based on traditional California Indian relationships with the land and with considerations for 2016, including hand-outs and the tasting of native foods. She teaches workshops in California Indian material culture and cooking, and will bring acorn coffee, acorn bread and elderflower fizz to drink.
Kat High is of Hupa descent and former director at the Haramokngna American Indian Center and is currently on the board of the Gabrielino Tongva Springs Foundation.
