Heavy rains caused some 220-volt wires to rub together at a
residence on Apperson — causing sparks that could have set the
tree on fire. LAFD responded and clipped the wires while waiting
for the DWP to fix the problem.
Make sure you have flashlights and lanterns to light the way. You
could be without electricity for days.
