The officers and crews at LAFD station 77 would like to thank everyone who gave of their time to aide the emergency responders in the La Tuna Fire over the Labor Day weekend.
The following people selflessly devoted multiple days to the volunteer effort. They work tirelessly 10+ hour day and night shifts to support Fire Station #77. They had a tremendous impact in making sure the station was organized and well prepared for 1000’s of firefighters from all over California as well as police officers from the valley who needed food, drinks, snacks, and toiletries. They coordinated donations from surrounding communities, transported supplies to the fire lines and jump crews. Donations from the community where overwhelming and yet all the volunteers took time to thank each individual on behalf of the men and women on the front lines. Their sacrifice was a small token of appreciation to all you for saving our lives, our homes and a little piece of the American dream.
