In an unprecedented attack on American Legion Post 377, “Senior Volunteer Advisor” Roger Swart, appointed by CD-7 Councilwoman Monica Rodriguez, called the post commander and legion members “a bunch of assholes.” Swart, one of the more vociferous Facebook hatesite posters, is a minion of Sonia Tatulian.
One of the problems with our community is the proliferation of lies that Tatulian and her ilk spread in her newspaper, The Record. A former friend of another mentally challenged resident, Kurt “Kurtles” Koesler, Swart attacked the Legion Post for allowing TFP Editor David “Doc” DeMullé membership.
DeMullé never has been a member of the post. Swart, who is known for his holding court at the Sunland Starbucks and stealing multiple copies of The Foothills Paper, is a major insult to all American Legion members as well as Councilwoman Monica Rodriguez.
Rodriguez did not respond to requests for comments.
